new year's weekend on the chesapeake bay was a cold one...but we all survived. the wind is still gusting to +50 npr and much damage has been done to properties facing the potomac river. it has been so difficult walking the dogs in 20°f with these crazy artic winds, especially with miss chase being 15 or 16 (she is a stray so we dont have an exact date of birth), but we did it...and it is done.
